Question Problem with gfx960 and new build with b550m

I have acquired an asus b550m with ryzen 5600
My idea was to continue using my gfx960 but.... It is not booting

But in my case still not working.

The VGA led is always white.
Only in 2 occasions of 200 It booted, but i couldn't do much, as I only was able to enter to the motherboard setup (like I said Is new, nothing configured)


I updated motherboard firmware. I updated the firmware of the gfx to the displayport 1.4

Nothing...
Any suggestion?

Yes I tried, unfortunately with no luck
@Fix_that_Glitch , I tried your method:

Try powering off your pc and unplugging the dp/hdmi cable. Power on your pc with the gpu cable unplugged. Then power off again. Plug the dp cable back into the gpu then power on. See if this turns off the white led.

But I'm not sure if I'm doing it ok
When you say "Power on your pc with the gpu cable unplugged" you mean the 8pin power cable from the power supply?

Please, if you can clarify your method it would be great

No, I don't have more GPU
But, the thing is that, once every 100 times, the PC starts and works and I can use it for hours... until I have to power off or restart.
Then, the nightmare starts again...

so I don't think is a problem of the GPU for itself

Try using one stick of ram at a time while booting. If it does not boot try the other stick by itself. This will rule out a bad stick of ram.
