Recently while playing League of Legends, my monitors display goes pitch black for around 1-2 seconds. When this happens, I also notice my graphics card's fan slows down significantly (I can tell by the noise of the fan and my gpu's monitoring application). I should also note that all sound ,from in-game sound to background music, stops for this period. Shortly after, all sound comes back, and the display comes back. There is one problem though. When my display lights back up, my in-game league of legends cursor in now on my desktop background. It is as if I am still in the game, but I am unable to see the game. I am then forced to close the application through the task manager. Unfortunately, this only stops this problem for a few minutes. The problem will continue to happen throughout the game. After experiencing this problem yesterday, I figured I might need to uninstall/reinstall my drivers for my gpu. I did so, and it fixed for the problem for the night. Unfortunately, the problem is back. If anyone knows what is going on, I would appreciate any help. I should also note that I ran a full system scan on my PC with Norton and MalwareBytes last night.

I just updated the post.

The more I think about it, this problem seems to only happen when I'm playing this game. It never happens when I browsing the web, watching videos, etc.

I figured I would give it a few days before seeing whether or not the history nuke would work. All seems okay. Thanks!
