Problem with GTX1080 and OS compatibility

Hey guys, I'm pretty desperate to figure this out. So I built a PC and installed windows 10. Well my PC kept freezing after like 5 or 10 mins of being on. Well I checked my system and everything is fine. I put in the DVD that came with my 1080 and it said it's not compatible. So I read a thread to just update my OS. Well now I am updating my OS but it takes to long and my pc freezes and I keep having to start over. Please help!

CPU, cooler , motherboard, power supply, RAM
brand and exact model please

How high are the temperatures in BIOS?

Don´t use a DVD to install drivers, download the driver directly from nvidia.com and install
