Hello, I don't post that often at all so I hope this is the right place for this question. I apologize if it's not.
I have a Hartke LH1000 Amplifier and a single Hartke VX410 Bass Cabinet.
The left side power amp works fine but I get no sound when I plug the Bass Cabinet into the right side.
I haven't used it in bridge mode until just today in all honesty so all this time there has been nothing plugged into the right side power amp, a few years back I used to have a 115 cabinet as well plugged into the right side so I know that it worked at that time at least but I haven't had a second cabinet in awhile plugged into it.
I didn't know until recently that when using a single cabinet that you were supposed to use it in bridge mode so I ordered a Speakon to 1/4 adapter since my VX410 cabinet doesn't have a Speakon connection only having 1/4 jacks on the back panel, when I hooked it up via the Speakon connection and set it to bridge mode
I got sound and it even sounded louder which is cool but my question is since I'm getting sound in bridge mode does this mean that there isn't that much wrong with the right side power amp or that it isn't completely dead at least?
Also, I did a little trouble shooting on my own to test some thing's out, even while not in bridge mode I got a signal through the Speakon connection and the left side just not the right side.
I was basically plugging the cabinet in back and fourth between inputs to see where there were signal's and in what modes for referrence, while in bridge mode it was the same just allot more volume via the Speakon connection.
Again, I was only trying to do a little bit of trouble shooting and I hope that I didn't risk messing anything up further. It is set to bridge mode currently and connected to the cabinet via the Speakon connection and sounds really good but I'm still hoping that there isn't much wrong with the right side power amp especially since it does work in bridge mode and works good at that.
