Problem with HDMI

Hey every one . I have laptop ASUS s551lb and monitor LG 16M35 .my laptop just have HDMI port and my LG is VGA port .i also have the hdmi to vga adapter

when i use in my laptop screen in LG look like this

and when i use in another laptop monitor is normal .i think the problem in my hdmi port on my laptop . but someone can give me solution..???sorry my english is bad , correct me if i do wrong . . Thankyou

Those HDMI to VGA adapters are often not quite ideal.

Try connecting your laptop to an HDTV via HDMI and see if the greenish colors go away or remain.

You may need a different monitor with an HDMI input.
