problem with hitachi hard drive

hi, I have bought a new hitachi HDS 721010KLA330 1TB 7200rpm hard drive and i have a problem with it.
when i want to copy some files from somewhere to somewhere else on the drive it makes a noise like scratching and speed is low about 30mb/s but when i copy some files from my Western digital hard drive on it its ok and the speed is good and about 100mb/s. please help me if my hard disk has problem or not because i'm afraid of loosing my data. thank you

Test the Hitachi drive with "WinDFT": http://www.hgst.com/support/downloads#DFT

It will tell you if there is anything wrong with the drive.

I tested the drive and it passed without error but during the test it makes that sound again.
