Hello, I recently built my own gaming computer, it is my second build. It's been about 2 weeks since I built it, and lately I've been having problems when I try to boot it up after a complete shut off. What usually happens is that the PC will boot up for 2-3 secs and then shut off on its own, then reboot up, and it will work fine from that point on. But it takes it two attempts to boot properly and I am worried that it could be something serious. Specs are as follows:

CPU:Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost)

PSU: COOLER MASTER GX Series RS650-ACAAE3-US 650W ATX12V

RAM:G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Harddrive: HITACHI Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723015BLA642 (0F12114) 1.5TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"

Mobo: ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Video Card:SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16

Any ideas as to what could be causing the two attempts at booting?

thanks
