Hello,
I recently got an IB-318StU3-B external enclosure USB 3.0 to use for a Seagate 4TB Barracuda ST4000DM000. As you can see here http://www.raidsonic.de/en/products/external-cases.php?we_objectID=6830 in the general description it says the enclosure can be used with up to 2TB hdd but in the technical and logistics data it says it can be used up to 4TB. Also, in the back of the package box it says unlimited capacity of hdd. However when i connect it to my pc (either to usb2.0 or 3.0 port) althought the drivers are installed correctly and the device manager sees it as AS2105 usb drive, the hdd is not visible at all. My os is windows7 SP1 and my mobo is this http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3503#ov (i have usb3.0 via this PCie card http://www.konigelectronic.com/de_de/1120046) The answer i got from their support was this:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your inquiry about our products. Please update USB 3.0 and chipset driver.
I have installed the latest drivers for the usb3.0 card chipset but i cant find any firmware update for the enclosure's chip Asmedia ASM1051. Probably that's the solution, to update the enclosure's firmware? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

p.s I forgot to mention that the same HDD 4TB is visible immediately if i connect it to my pc via an IB-116StU3 docking station.
