Problem with intel 80gb ssd

I recent recieved an intel 80 gb ssd and i cannot partition it or install windows on it, bios recognizes it as well as device manager but i cannot see it in my computer. i am using a msi 790 g70 amd motherboard thankks again
and it wont b recognized when i start up windows installer. Anyone have any ideas thanks

You need to initialize it. Right click "My Computer" in start bar and click manage, then disk management. Right click the SSD then go from there

windows 7 and i can right click the drive but what option should i use

What options do you have? If it's completely unformatted you should have something like "create simple volume" - pick that.
