Hello,

I have a problem and I would like to share it with you (maybe someone can explain to me what's really going on )

Well, I have build a tower, and the computer start-up but i don't have display... (just black screen)
i changed power supply and also video card and still nothing happens I thought that the motherboard was dead but i remove the ram and i can hear the sound of motherboard, so the motherboard seem to be fine.. at the end only 2 things remains... cpu and ram

i remove the heatsink from cpu and guess what, cpu is not heating... So i conclude that the problem is cpu...what is your opinion?? is my cpu dead? or the problem maybe comes from motherboard ??

You'll want to make sure that the chip is inserted correctly and that there are no bent pins. You can also try just using different DRAM sticks in different slots to see if it will boot. What motherboard, CPU, DRAM, GPU and PSU are you using? If you give us the details of your build, we can offer better advice.

Id suggest you ask a friend who is good with computers to take a look at it, or you take it to a repair shop.

As rolli59 said - without knowing what parts are there it is very hard to diagnose anything, and even knowing the parts - can be very hard for someone not familiar with computer troubleshooting to figure out what is going on.

If we tell you to check the power supply connection to the motherboard, you might look, see the main one is good, think the PSU is properly connected, and tell us that it is good. While an experienced repair guy will see that the main one is there but the additional 4-pin one is missing, plug it in and the problem is solved. (it is almost impossible for us to give such detailed guides about every possble thing that can go wrong in a PC - hence my saying someone experienced and hands on with the PC is the best bet)

Do you have both the 24pin ATX cable (plugs in on right side of mobo) and the 8pin CPU power cable (plugs in top left, by the CPU) plugged in and firmly seated on the board and at the PSU?

Yes I have double check the 24pin ATX and the 8pin both of them are connected properly
