Hi, my uncle bought a laptop when he lived in China for some time. In order to use certain websites he had to find a way to go around the Chinese internet censorship. He was using Astrill at the time. Now he's back in Australia and we cannot get his laptop opening any websites. We can connect the internet but any attempt to open the website fails with the message of proxy problem. Can anyone advise how we can go around it? By the way, for some, he cannot login to Astrill anymore either.
I'm not an expert so I'd appreciate simple and step by step explanation ;)
Thanks

Try reinstalling the driver for the network card or seeing if there is an update (usually found on the manufacturer's website.). go on another computer to fing the update and transfer over with a usb drive. When the new driver installs it will reset the network controller.
