Problem with iPad auto correcting "i" to "I"

The problem that I have is that when I type with my iPad the i is automatically changing from i to I even tho in my norwegian that's not a thing ("i" in norwegian is "in" and not "I" like in english) .. I have the keyboard set to my main language. The iOS is set to my main language. I do not have auto correction on. So really I have no idea what the problem could be or how to fix it.

You'd need to turn off Auto-Capitalisation off.

Auto-correction & Auto-capitalisation are two separate settings:

Auto-correction only corrects spelling mistakes, nothing to do with capitalisation.
