I got a 19 " Samsung SyncMaster LCD and a HD4850 1GB (with Driver version 12.6 ); now the problem is whenever I try to set the resolution to the 1440X900 (which is the optimum resolution for this screen).

I get the vertical setting messed up ( I got a part of the screen blacked out from the top about an inch) and no matter how I try to change the setting of vertical either from the screen or from the ECC (Engine COntrol Center ) of the AMD ...I did not have this problem before it started when I got my win7 X64 installed

any Idea ?

System Specs :
Processor : FX-8120
Ram : 8GB DDR3
Card : HD4850 1GB
HDD : 2.0 TB WD Green
PSU : CoolerMaster 500W
