problem with lg display

I have lg flatron w1943c for 5 years now
From about 2 weeks there is a delay in startup
It keeps on displaying lg logo over and over. At the start it was for about 5 mins now its taking 1hr for startup
The time of startup is increasing by 10-15min daily
But after that delay it works just fine for as long its on. If i restart it, the cycle just repeats
All the wires are fine with new cpu
I've asked the local store guys they just keep on saying it cannot be repaired (without even opening it)
so my question is can it be repaired or do i need to get a new monitor?

Just get a new monitor as having it repaired just wouldn't be economical cost-wise anyway, even if it was possible.
The only monitors worth paying to have repaired are the professional graphics models, not standard consumer models.

i recently got a new cpu so i was kinda tight on money
so was thinking of repairing it
now i'll think of getting a 1080p one
