[SOLVED] Problem with MSI graphic card

Hi everyone ..
I have Msi GT 730 4gb card but my windows 7 is only recognise 696MB of it , when I checked the dedicated video RAM it was 0
Any solution ?
my Setup is
Asrock 945gcm motherboard
2 gb ram
Intel core2dou e8400

Where is it saying this? DXdiag is almost universally wrong, same with sysinfo and a lot of other places.

However, if you are still running a 32bit OS it is more than possible the system doesn't have enough addressing to handle the system memory and GPU memory.

Yes Bro it is from DXdiag , does that mean I should Replace my OS in order to Use the whole of my GPU VRAM ??

Pretty much yes.

With 2GB of system memory though, not going to be very good. Core 2 duo is pushing it in terms of age. You would be much better off spending a little to replace the core system.

But If I want to stick to my current setup , can't I unlock the whole 4GB of my GPU ??

If you install a 64 bit OS, yes, the system should be able to address more than a total of 4GB of memory.

I'm merely pointing out that your 2GB of system memory is the minimum recommended to run something like Windows 10 64bit. You could buy more ram if you have available slots.

What you will run into is that the OS will use more system memory, which leaves less room for other applications. Including games. Doesn't matter how much VRAM you have if the game engine is cramped for space and starts using virtual memory (hard drive)
