Problem with multiple wireless routers !

Well couple of days ago i opened a thread about dealing with multiple wireless routers at home to which i got an answer that i should limit the frequency at which the routers should be operating (20 Hz difference each) in order to try and minimize signals interfering with each other. I decided to get cables for the other two routers and i disabled the wireless broadcast under wireless tab in order to stop the other two routers interfering with the signal. Only one router is currently broadcasting wireless internet and yet again i am having the same issue, the wireless internet is very very slow. The single wireless router is also connected with a cable to another pc besides mine. Can the other two routers somehow still interfere with the wireless connection although they are not broadcasting, should i turn off additional features under different tabs on my router page ?
The router models are linksys e1200.

Looking for help once again captain 😀

Ah, okay, that should not be a problem since they are three distinct networks. (And you actually can use multiple routers connected together but they need to be cascaded to create different subnets).

They will not have any effect on one another unless they are using overlapping wireless signals and that only would be radio interference making it hard to maintain a good connection.

While you have turned off your two other radios, it is certainly possible that another nearby network is using the same channel. You can download and run a free wifi analyzer to check that possibility from HERE.
Only one router on the network should have DHCP enabled or you will have chaos even if only one has a wireless radio operating.

I suspect that the answer you got was to use the second in AP mode and use two different radio channels that are non-overlapping (so selecting from 1, 6, and 11).

Each channel is only 20MHz wide and you do not want to bond them for higher speed if there are any other networks near you, as the two channels used will take up over 80% of the available bandwidth on 2.4GHz and you will also interfere with your second wireless radio on the access point.

Ugh forgot to add that the three routers are connected to three different modems with each being separate internet connection with their own cables and paid subscriptions from the isp providers. It is not like having a single modem connected to three routers...

Wow. That's a pretty big configuration concept to leave out.

Ok thx for the link i will check it out and report shortly, so as i said before, all three routers are connected to three modems each with seperate connections and subscriptions to the isp, only one router is currently broadcasting wirieless internet and is also connected with a cable to another computer besides mine, whereas the other two routers have wireless connections disabled in the router configuration tab and are only connected with cables to other computers...

edit. Ok so after i downloaded the program i can see my wireless router as being the only one in the -30 to -90 2.4ghz band table and the signal strenght showing at -74 dBm. My conn only shows up when 802.11g is checked (whatver that is). Co Channels is 0 so is overlapping. I only see one channel with score of 64. If need additional info please ask... I will turn off other routers tomorrow and see if the connection will improve and come back with info, but for now the problem still persists..

edit2: After doing a hard reset on the router and installing latest linkisys stuff i was prompted, the issues seems resolved, any way, thx a lot guys i learned a lot these 2-3 days about wirless networking.
