Problem with my airtel dongle

The problem is every time when i use my airtel dongle without downloading more than 2 MB, after use pop up shows as 166 MB always, and 166 MB will be lost actually. What may be the problem, how can i fix it?

Which dongle? Where did you purchase it?

I would start by reinstalling the drivers for the airtel dongle.

Make sure that you are downloading the drivers from the correct site and matching the driver to your device.

Could be possible that you may have either a defective dongle or perhaps some counterfeit product.

Its an airtel 4G dongle, i bought it from a showroom

Did you change the default username and password? Otherwise someone could be using your plan.

Double check all of the configuration settings per the User Guide.

However, full disclosure, I am not sure about the specifics with regard to a particular User Guide matching your dongle and plan.

There were a few other links and some were duplicates. Noted a variety of plans - some dependent upon location.

Take a close look at your service/data plan. There may be some minimal data level (i.e., 166 MB) applied for any smaller sized downloads.

Not sure where you live but most of the various plans and details are somewhat vague and the "fine print" is hard to find.
