Question Problem with my M.2 SAMSUNG EVO 9070 2280 SSD

My M.2 SAMSUNG EVO 9070 2280 SSD DOES NOT GET DETECTED IN THE ASROCK B450 STEEL LEGEND MOTHERBOARD NEITHER IN BIOS OR WINDOWS INSTALLER.

Please help. the manual that came with the motherboard states that it is version 1.0 however there is version 2.3 available but i do not know how to do it?

go to the motherboard site, download the bios update, load the update on a usb, then install using the bios flash utility in bios or boot time hot key stated in the manual.

I have already done that, when i use the disk manager from another hard drive from my old pc, i have tried to detect the ssd by that and installed the nvme drivers, still no detection.

make sure the bios setting for the m2 slot is set to PCIe mode instead of SATA mode.

If it isn't being detected then you have one of 2 problems

1. it came broken
2. you haven't inserted it correctly.
