Problem with my my external disk doesnt show his true capacity

my external disc have 1000gb but it show 0gb and I cant see all my files and I can't save in it a file

Did the drive work ok previously? Have you tried to run chkdsk on it?

yes the drive work ok, but I do not know wot it happen i tried to run chkdsk but in vain

Did chkdsk fail? If not, what did it report? Are you able to check the SMART status of the drive? Free utilities like speedfan can check the SMART status.

You might also want to download the drive manufacturer's drive tools and check the drive with it.
