So recently I got a ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix OC GeForce GTX 1060 Graphics Card 6GB. Ever since I installed it and downloaded the drivers it tended to freeze in games such as GTA V or Battlefield and I wasn't getting the performance that it should be getting. I feel like my CPU isn't good enough but my friends who know more about pcs said they don't think it is. So I wanted to make sure with you guys and see your opinions.
Here are my specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P AM3+ Crossfire USB3.0 SATA 3

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5 Ghz Eight core 125W

Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart Series SP-750PCBUS 750W 80Plus Bronze

RAM: ADATA XPG V3 4GB DDR3 2133

Hard Drive: 1TB STATA III 7200 RPM 3.5"

Water cooling: Asetek 550LC 120MM

Old Graphcis Card: AMD Radeon r9 280 3GB GDDR5 PCIE 3.0X16

One thing is you have 4gb system ram right? That's not going to get it done with the kind of games you're playing. Add another 4gb, it'll help get rid of stuttering in the game. Next, use a program like MSI Afterburner to display CPU usage and GPU usage while you play. If you see CPU usage up near 100% all the time this is a sign that your CPU is not enough. Bottomline, I think with GTA V the real issue is lack of sufficient memory and with BF1 I think it's the CPU.
