Problem with my pc

So about a week ago my pc just shut down and had a burning smell after reasearching i figured power supply died so i replaced it (with warranty) i put my new one in today turned on the pc it was working for a few seconds and shut down it didnt want to start again and there was this like metalic smell i dont know how to explain it what do you think might be wrong

unfortunately i would say the PSU failed again or when the PSU failed last time it may have damaged something else.

when it shit down did you hear any noise like a pop?

I didnt hear anything do you think its posible that it dies just like that ive used it for over a year and my speakers are powered through usb and when i switch power on the led lights up so its not completly dead can i somehow check if other components are damaged

check the motherbord to see if there are any blown capacitors. if you have a GPU installed remove that and try to boot with just integrated video

I dont see any damage on the motherboard and removing the gpu didnt work

When i come into room with pc i can still smell this like chemical/metalic smell long after not touching it what could that mean
