Hey guys,
I have some problems with my Phenom x4 965 BE voltage.
Without cool n' quiet enabled it runs at 1.488 to 1.504 (sometimes goes over that but not too much) at idle at stock speed of 3.4 Ghz in CPUID HWmonitor.
In Aida64 shows from 1.408 to 1.424 at idle.
With cool n' quiet enabled it works at
1.104 to 1.136 at idle in CPUID HWmonitor, and
1.040 to 1.055 at idle in Aida64.
In bios show similar results to Aida64.
Now i'm think i know what causes this but i need someone who are willing to help me to confirm this.
This is AM3 cpu and i have AM2+ board, so it's ddr2 memory.
I have ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 board, board that doesn't support this cpu, but support 955 which is basically same chip, but is 965 125W. This board support some 125W chips but not 965 and i need to press F1 to boot system and after that it runs fine.
If high CPU VCORE is caused by motherboard then i need to change it and RAM memory, and i will.
But there is one more thing (I'm sorry), I have cheap power supply 550W and i need only 380W (i have hd 7770 also) for this system.

I tested AMD Sempron 140 and it runs at 1.472 to 1.488 V with out Cool N' Quiet at idle.
So maybe is Power Supply.
Thing is I am student in not that rich country and i'm not willing to lend some money from my parents. I have some extra cash from my scholarship and i can buy just one thing : Motherboard and Memory or Good Power Supply?
So if anyone knows High VCore causes in my case or suggestion what to buy i would be happy to listen.
Sorry for bad English and Long text.
