Problem with my Transcend quick reconnect button.

Hi all,

Hope you all're doing well..Kindly clarify on my below doubt

I bought a transcend storejet 25h3p Last month and it seems that it is responding fine so far with respect to the data transfer part. The item description shows that the button at the top is a Quick reconnect button that is used for re-enable safely removed USB hard drive without unplug and reinserting the drive. But for me it doesn't seem to be working in that way. I thought that it requires special software (like...,Transcend Elite software), hence I downloaded the same and retried the scenario. But no luck.....I'm using 3.0 USB connector. Does anybody know what is the issue??? If yes kindly share your suggestions. So that it will be helpful for me to clarify things from the consultant before I consult them. kindly respond if any other information needed. Thanks a lot
 
The Quick reconnect button works like this:

You have used the safely remove hardware icon to safely remove the drive but you don't physically disconnect it.
This means the drive is still physically connected but Windows no longer shows the drive.
Press the Quick Connect button and the drive will be shown in Windows again, ready to use.

Please explain in what way that is not working for you.
