My computer is about a month old. And it goes to black screen every time after i log in the Windows 7. But I don't have any problem if i unplug the videocard and use i7-2600k processor graphics.

I really appreciate some help here.
Thanks

CPU: i7-2600k
MB: asus p8z68-v
Videocard: asus radeon hd6870

p.s.I tried reset bios and reinstall drivers
Videocard fan is running fine.

If im understanding correctly, he can see video through the boot, but only until windows initialises.

Try safe mode (tap f8 before the windows blinking lights/flag until you get a menu)

Ok so im assuming thats with the 6870 inside

It may as well be a driver problem either way.

Try to boot in windows, assuming you dont have a password, let it stand there for a min (with the blank screen), then press the windows key + p twice and see what happens.

If nothing, then i could only tell you to reinstall windows. If it still doesn't work, rma the videocard

If you are using latest AMD drivers -currently 11.1 I think- and you could go to Safe Mode then try using MSCONFIG.EXE from RUN and -> Startup tab
then watch the programs that load during Windows startup. maybe something is wrong there.
