I just upgraded from my 1Tb western digital blue HDD to a crucial mx100 256gb SSD, and i noticed that every few hours (2-4) my music on spotify would start to repeat the same few words of a song over and over, and the game im playing will start to become very laggy. For example: in league of legends my ping goes to 7 (i dont believe is actually is 7, just displays that), which is way lower than normal but the game is very laggy, and in counterstrike: global offensive the game has a very large delay for actions like shooting or throwing grenades. Also im basically always talking to friends on skype while this happen and my skype call is never affected. The "lag" that i am getting is not low FPS, it feels more like having high ping, but nobody else in house has problems with our internet while this happens, and i dont believe its a problem with my ethernet or internet because it only started happening when i installed the new SSD, when installing the SSD is did have to reinstall windows, but used an external hard drive to transfer files, if that could have anything to do with it. Thank You!

EDIT: ive recently now noticed that it isnt only spotify and the game, is it everything on my computer that is super slow, i cant even open task manager to see disk usage, and also when it happens the settings in my games get reverted back.

Pc specs:
AMD fx 8350
EVGA GTX 970
16GB memory
1tb western digital blue HDD
256Gb crucian mx100 SSD
corsair h100i cpu cooler
gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P mobo

Hey BenAdesso1. When you say that no one else has reported problems with the internet at your place, are you talking about just browsing or listening to music, because in most cases when playing games, you need a faster and more stable connection than usual. If there's no problem with the internet connection, I'd recommend that you take a look at this article here: http://www.maketecheasier.com/12-things-you-must-do-when-running-a-solid-state-drive-in-windows-7/

Hope that helps.

yeah, there is no problem with the internet: speedtest results are: ping: 9 Down: 60 Up: 12 (i am also using a cat 6 ethernet cable so it isnt a problem with wireless)

But as i stated before the problem isnt my internet i was just saying in games it feels the same as high ping. everything on my computer runs slow when the problem starts, even just moving my mouse gets all wierd. and the only way to fix the problem is the restart the pc.

Windows finds the drive the drive to be healthy and i ran a disk check which found no errors. i didnt download crystalmark as my antivirus popped saying it had malware in it (i use AVG)

I thought i installed all the windows updates when i reinstalled my OS, but realised there is 51 updates, i just installed them all and will report back if that fixes the issues.
