Problem with NVidia drivers when I don't have a GPU. How? Why?

Hello, I have a laptop which came pre-installed with windows 7. I updated to windows 8 and control centre has been saying I am having problems with nvidia graphics driver. I don't even have a GPU as far as I'm aware. NVidia can't find which GPU drivers I need and windows can't either. Also, is there a way of checking if I do have a GPU. I'm certain I don't but it'd be nice to check.

Download GPUZ and run it. It will spec out the GPU for you as well as the driver version: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
