Hello,
An old-age friend of mine gave me the above PC saying the monitor was black.
I realize it is a very old PC but I do not think my friend has the knowledge to use a better computer.
I took it home, plugged my external monitor and connected the PC to the mains .
My monitor was working but I had to disconnect everything from the mains in a hurry because a little smoke was coming out from the back of the PC (plus frying noise).
Before I start disassembling I would like to have your opinion.
My first thought went to the transformer. Maybe it is going dead.
What do you think?
