Hello recently i upgraded my 10850k to 12700k and I have problems when its come to overclocking. I set allcore 51 and voltage is 1.3 but cpu never hit 5.1 on any program or game. I used cinebench, prime95, occt but it doenst go above 4.850 mhz. This happened after i did a bios update, before doing that everything was fine. I copied every setting before the update then I use same settings in bios but no luck so far.

Motherboard: msi pro z690-a
cpu:i7 12700k
ram: patriot viper steel 4000 mhz cl16
psu:corsair rm750x
gpu : rtx 3060

Ask yourself, with the gpu you have got a RTX 3060. What benefit in fps do you get by overclocking the cpu? Also these cpus will boost depending on the load. They will downclock if the power setting is below high in windows control panel. From the sound of it you have the cpu working normally within the limits you set. Allcore 51 and voltage is 1.3 vcore.

Im using ultimate performance on power settings and using msi afterburner to check those mhz's at games.

Are you using the HWMonitor app to look at the usage or the task manager?
The task manager does not give you an accurate reading. Check your value readout for the P-Cores in the HWMonitor that will give you an accurate reading.
Hi, Is there something special that has to be configured to get HWMonitor to show the Utilization status of an Intel 12700K CPU; I'm only seeing any activity on the first thread of Core 0. Using a Gigabyte Aorus Elite MB, 64 Gb of Ram, and a MSI Suprim 4090 GPU.
