There is a problem with the computer RAM, as soon as the power button is plugged in the lights and fans will spin for about 1 second, stop and then spin again for a second and this gos on and on. I am unable to turn on the computer.

When i put a lot of pressure on the RAM this stops and I am able to turn on my computer and stop putting pressure on the RAM. I am then able to use my computer and the RAM is detected.

It seems to start up the computer I need to put a lot of pressure on the ram, it is correctly clipped into place etc. What could be the problem?

Many Thanks

Had the same motherboard and ram for a while now, never had a problem until I took the ram out today and put it back in. I've tried different slots or just using one of the ram but still the same problem. Thanks for the suggestion though!
