Problem with ram overclock

Hi guys so I have a small problem when it comes to overclocking
My ram doesnt want to overclock I have tried over and over again and it either crashes whenever i go into a program or it reboots my PC till it's back to 2400mhz

Ryzen 1700 @4ghz 62°c 100%load 40°c idle
2x8gb ballistix ram 2400mhz
Gtx 1070
Antec 750watt gold PSU
PC mate b350

I'm skeptical about the motherboard. I also doubt the rams can go above their advertised specs. You could try with the latest BIOS on your motherboard and then try manually overclocking with just the frequency and voltage set to 1.35v then work the latency's in.

The motherboard is actually very good for the price it is easy to overclock everything but Im still new to overclocking so I just needed help. thanks btw I will see what happens still open to other suggestions
