Hey, I wasn't sure where to post this exactly and I've searched on the internet extensively for a cause of the problem I'm having and/or a solution so I'll ask here:

I recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with the following specs:

- Intel Core i7-4510U running at 2.00GHz
- Intel HD Graphics 4400
- 8GB DDR3L RAM running at 1600MHz
- 256GB SSD
- Intel Wireless-N 7260 Network Card
- Windows 8.1 64-bit

Anyways, I finally installed iTunes on it and transferred over my ~1500 song (~14GB) song library from my Desktop PC to said Ultrabook through Apple's own 'Homesharing' feature. Everything worked fine until I opened and ran Google Chrome. When I did that I noticed that the quality of the songs themselves did not change but they began to stutter as I played them. Whenever I then closed Google Chrome it would go back to normal. I thought this was an isolated incident but the problem continued to persist. I then tested if this happened with any other open applications and the stuttering did not occur - I tested it with Hearthstone, Visual Studio 2013 Express, Microsoft Word 2010, and others.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or know any way to fix it?

Thanks for the replies in advance!

So, after listening to music for numerous hours without any other programs open the stuttering has begun to appear which leads me to believe it's simply the fault of iTunes. Xbox Music (which came with the Lenovo) plays all my musics perfectly so I will try to re-install iTunes and if that doesn't change anything I'll just stick with Xbox Music until a new update to iTunes comes along and I will try again. By the way, Vembutech, both programs were already their most recent versions but thank you anyways for the reply!
