Hello guys.

I have ran into a problem with my ram. I can't get it to work on 1600 mhz.

Specs:
Motherboard: P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
CPU: Intel i7 2600K - turbo 4.0 GHz
PSU: 600W SilentiumPC Vero L2 80+
GPU: MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
Ram: Patriot Viper 16 GB (4x4GB)1600MHz CL8 PXQ316G1600LLQK

At the moment the ram is running at 9 9 9 24 1333MHz - 1.5v. According to the specification it should run at 8 9 8 24 1600MHz - 1.65v.
I tried to change it to these specs in BIOS however the PC crashes after about 5 mins when I open windows.

Is there any way that I can run this ram at the 1600Mhz speed without the crashes? Also is it worth bothering? I mean would there be any improvement between 1333 and 1600?

If I need to write any other details please let me know.

Thanks for helping.
