Problem with samsung monitor

ive been using a samsung 19" 1440x900 monitor for the past 3 years. now everything(texts pictures games-basically the whole screen!) looks blurry and all the whites look yellowish. Does it mean i have to change it? if yes can i stick to the same brand or is there anything better out there?

Are you using a VGA cable? If you are, then you just need to set the clock and phase of the monitor, so that in the OSD. There should be an auto configure function on any monitor that accepts VGA.
