So i have my TV connected to my computer as a second display.

My monitor is set up as my main display, windows even says "This is currently your main display"

and all is fine if its the only one connected when the computer powers up. But if i have both the monitor and tv windows will start up with my tv.

Everything will look fine on the monitor, all my icons and everything are still loaded on it and it even says that its the main display in the settings, but when i go to disable my tv by using win+p and setting it to "Computer only" the tv is the one that gets the dispay then, the montor seems to be set on "projector"

How can i make windows keep the monitor as the computer display?

whats the make and model of your videocard?

asus 750ti

tried that didnt work

i assume TV is plugged into the HDMI port and monitor into DVI or VGA?

there are 2 ways to control what monitor is primary. you can use the nvidia control panel, or the display software that comes with windows. looks like you are looking at the windows software.

I would check the settings in nvidia control panel.

No they are both plugged in via dvi.

Monitor is from dvi to dvi, TV uses DVI to Hdmi, and the monitor is set as #1 in nvidia settings as well.
