Question Problem with seeing contents of ssd

I had an SSD with windows on it that used to be the main SSD of my old pc (it was the one i booted windows from). Now I need to get some files back, but connecting it via USB to my new pc with an adapter doesn't let me read the contents of the SSD: in fact the SSD doesn't even show in the files app, only in the windows disk manager.
  • The windows disk manager tells me "uninitialized disk, 0mb capacity and 0mb allocated space, partition style not applicable, unknown type".
  • The AOMEI partition assistant shows the disk, but with 0mb content. The only info it says is "MBR".
  • Trying to use diskpart: "list diskpart" doesn't even show the disk
  • Trying to update the driver related to the disk on the windows disk manager, says the driver installed is the most recent one
  • Samsung magician says everything is unknown (N /A)

Does someone know how to fix this?

It appears that Windows is detecting the Realtek RTL9210 USB-NVMe bridge in the enclosure but not the SSD behind the bridge.
Do you know why is that? Different sources have told me that the adapter is the correct one, so it should not be an adapter-ssd compatibility problem.
