Problem with Sleep/Hibernation Mode when using Google.

My computer will not go into sleep and hibernation mode if I am using Google Chrome as a browser. Everything works perfectly if I am using either Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.

Is there a solution to this problem or is it a problem with Google?

That reveals why many have ditched the Google browser. It's constantly sending data about you and your browsing habits back to Google's servers, hence any power saving features you've set never kick in because your PC is always busy.

I stopped using Chrome for that very reason.

Thank you for your advice. I will go back to Firefox.
