Hi!
I too have had problems getting software deployment to work through
Group Policy. It works just fine when setting it up by user, but have
had no success getting it to work by computer.
I have following all of your steps listed as well as done some pretty
extensive troubleshooting but it just will not install. I know the
policy is being applied because other parts of it are taking effect.
I have a test OU setup with the computer account in it for my test PC.
I have setup the policy to install by computer (assigned). The PC
boots up normally with no sign that software is being installed, and
in fact it is not being installed.
Does anyone have any other ideas, suggestions on why this isn’t
working?
Thanks!
