Hi guys!

I am having very weird issue for some time now, and cannot find what is wrong, just had full C: format and installed windows, but the problem remain.

My motherboard is: Asus Maximus VII Ranger and I am using some 5.1 Pioneer surround system which I have connected via high quality toslink cable, that was working well for years now.

Problem is when I just turn on my computer there is no sound, if I play music I can see the bars going up or down in Playback Devices --> Digital Audio (S/PDIF) after some time 10, sometimes 20 minutes sound randomly starts working and if I don't turn off my PC it will never cut off and work fine.

Any ideas what is going on? I am using Windows 10 Enterprice x64

Thanks

You can use either the RCA connection or the TOS-Link connection for SPDIF. They are interchangeable. They should not be used at the same time, though.
Hi, its Pioneer SX LX60D

I tried restarting receiver, didn't work, i guess Ill try cleaning the dust now (I do this constantly on my PC in and out) but hardly ever on those receiver connections. But I am already using it as SPDIF
