Hello, Please help me solve these two problems .
# 1 svchost.exe
So , sometimes when I turn on the computer and sometimes after a few minutes or hours, my computer is really slow and it's impossible to do something . In Device Manager, I found a svchost.exe process which used my processor at 95-100 % . On the Internet I found many cases in which helped turn off automatic updates for Windows , but all the time I have them off and I've never had them on. So I tried kill this process, after turning off the process computer is already running with no problems as before. The only thing that will happen ( except power increase ) is that the visual style will change to classic ( Windows 98 or Windows 95 ) . I use Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 visual style that I useing for over 1.5 years and functioned without problems until now . So the visual style of Windows 7 is definitely not causer of this problem. After turning off this process and have the old style computer running normally until I turn off or reboot my comuter . I attach a picture before and after this process killed ( CPU utilization is above ) .
#2. atikvmag.dll
It is probably the library ATI, which is my graphics card (Raedon 9550). When I turn on any game or installation, blue screen appear and this shows: atikvmag.dll, then the system will do dump and a computer can only be restarted. Sometimes it runs up even when I try to enable more applications at once (as I always did). I'm absolutely sure that I have the latest version of the graphics driver. Dump log:
Filename : atikvmag.dll
Address In Stack : atikvmag.dll+18104
From Address : 0xbf07d000
To Address : 0xbf101000
Size : 0x00084000
Time Stamp : 0x4b737fbc
Time String : 11.2.2010 4:55:40
Product Name : Virtual Command And Memory Manager
File Description : Virtual Command And Memory Manager
File Version : 6.14.10.0098
Company : ATI Technologies Inc.
Full Path : C:\WINDOWS\system32\atikvmag.dll
I think that between these problems is no connection and they are two different issues.
Of course I tried to fix by using System Restore, but I got the following message:
and System Restore will not start. Maybe is off any service or something, I use various programs to clean my computer and improve performance. Of course I tried restoring in Safe Mode.
I have repeatedly experienced this error message with the file shdocvw.dll, I used a program DLL-Fixer, which it replaced. This file can be restored to original version using original Windows DVD?
For all the answers thank you in advance.
Have a nice day.
