[SOLVED] Problem with the 27gl850

It shows 144hz on the osd when on desktop, but when i open csgo it goes to 120hz when i check the osd?? ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?

Is the game using a different resolution to Windows desktop? Are you connecting the monitor using Display Port?

Yes sir,

It is customed resolution but still set up at 144hz. And yes using the display port that came with it. Also tried a different dp cable but still thesame. The "Hz" automatically changes to static 120 in the osd when in game.

Also tried reverting it back to thesame resolution as in the desktop but still shows 120hz in the osd T_T.

Looking at the manual for the monitor 144Hz is only supported at 1440p.

Why does it still show up 120hz even though it is in 1440p full screen .
This only seems to happen in CSGO. Othergames shows 144hz on the osd/osm

Nevermind, i fixed it through typing " -refresh 144" on the set launch options on csgo. Tnx for the help anyways.

If you run games in fullscreen, the game's refresh rate setting will override the desktop setting whenever the game is open. You must set the ingame setting to the desired refresh rate, as the desktop setting will not be enforced ingame. Run in borderless window mode to avoid this problem.
