Problem with the GTX 770

Hey guys! I bought this computer about a week ago and I found the graphics card a bit underperforming so I checked the windows performance test and all the values were at 7,6 except the graphics one which was at 3,7. I didn't understand why it did so poorly at the test and after searching re-installed pilots online and was able to get it to 6.7! I was very happy about this improvement but when I tried opening the nvidia control panel, i got an error saying there was no monitor connected to the graphics card. I looked it up online and couldn't get any clear answers. I also cannot access bios for some reasons because i don't have the time to do it with fast boot (that I wasn't able to remove). I was wondering how I could fix this and if opening the panel could give a real improvement in performance or if it is not worth fixing. Thanks for the help!

Have you tried updating your driver for the GTX 770?

Uninstall your current driver with driver sweeper
