Problem with the microphone

I live in Ecuador and use Skype. Recently the person on the other end cannot hear me. Is this a microphone problem or what? I have an Acer Aspire 5570Z Computer.

How you live in Ecuador, is more easy:

Verifique que el microfono este activo y que skype tenga seleccionado el microfono correcto.

Otra opcion, es que te presten un segundo microfono y probar con ese.
