[SOLVED] Problem with the new CPU.

Hello,

so I bought a I5 - 3570K and when I put it on my motherboard I can´t start my computer and it start to beep.
I have a HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower with the original motherboard and power supply still in it.
Could it be cause its not getting enough power or is it something else?

P.S. The motherboard is LGA 1155

Components:
Intel Core I3 - 2120 LGA 1155
Radeon rx460 4gb vram
HP - 320W powersupply

is your bios updated to support ivy bridge cpu?

i Think the motherboard only support 2400/2500 and i7 2600 k and not ivy bridge cpu. not 100 percent sure but probably no support for that cpu.

How can I see if my BIOS is on the latest version and how to update it?
I am still new to all of this.

doesnt seems that it helped, intel doesnt supports gen3 cpu on your mainboard
