Hi everybody,

Do i need to plug all the four molex connectors of my video card (GTX 970 AMP! EXTREME CORE EDITION) to the PSU? Or 3 would be enough? Will i have problems using only 3 of them?

I am asking because one of the 4 molex connectors that comes with the PSU is being used to power up the fans of the Phantom 410.

Thank you.

My build is:

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case (gunmetal)
Motherboard: Asrock Z97 Extreme 4
RAM: G.skill Ripjaws X 8gb (2x4gb) Ddr3 1600mhz Cl8
Graphics Card: Geforce Zotac GTX Entusiasta Nvidia GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition 4GB
Processor: Intel Core i5 4440 3.10GHz 6MB 4th Generation LGA 1150 Quad Core - Box
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Power Supply: ATX CX600M Corsair CP-9020060-WW
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB

Solution
Your PSU should have 2x8 or at least 1x8 and 1x6 pin for your GPU. Molex's are a last resort and you should use the cables from the PSU dedicated for graphics.
