i have an archer c 60 connected as access point to my home network .
but it would frenquently go out with its internet light becoming orange , and no internet.

i don't have the same problem with either my linksys ea9500 or x3500 router / access points.

is it because i'm using a bad brand or i'm doing something wrong ?

also

can you help me set up VPN on my c60 ? pptp and l2tp are not working so far.
i want to do so so i can broadcast my vpn in my apartment .

Solution
yes as an access point
i put it on DHCP and set wifi password
If you have dhcp enabled, it's not an access point. And that's probably part of the problem.

Try these:

If you are using it as an access point, why is the Internet light even being used? An access point doesn't even use a wan connection.

accesspoint - router ? i don't know the proper terminology , but the internet light would turn from green to yellow-orange after a while and the internet disconnects. i'm using DHCP
