I am trying to upgrade my prebuilt, so I got a second hand gtx 750 1gb (inno3d) and 8gb of ram, also second hand. So when I tried installing them both, it gave no signal. I am using the mini hdmi on the graphics card and the on board cpu is the amd athlon II x4 640, with 4gigs of ram. I already upgraded the very slow hdd to a ssd, but when I put the ram and the gpu in, the pc doesn't give any signal. I hope someone knows how to make the parts work.
I already tried putting only the ram, and only the gpu in, but with the ram it gives 1 beep, no signal and with the gpu nothing and also no signal. I do not know what kind of motherboard I have, as I couldn't find a modelnumber. The prebuilt name is: medion akoya E4200 D (MD 8359). If anyone needs more info, just ask.
