Yesterday when i started my computer it started repairing one of my drives (C drive which is an SSD) and when i logged on to the computer about half of my games had disappeared from my desk and the background changed back to the basic windows background. The games were still on my drive and i was able to play them without any problems. I was also logged out from apps like Steam and Google Chrome. My main browser was changed to Microsoft Edge and my desk bar was reset to how it is when you install windows freshly. I moved some of the games that were removed from the desk back there and logged into steam and google chrome making things like normal. I turned off my computer and later when i turned it on it had gone back to how it was before, with half of my games gone from the desk and everything else i described.

Reparing? Or where you prompted to Reset with one of three options - Keep my files, Remove everything, or Restore factory settings.

If there was extensive corruption to the NTFS volume (C drive file system), Windows could have logged you in with a temporary local profile. In any case, I'd recommend backing up whatever personal data you have left on the system, the nuking the drive with a full Windows reinstall; including smoking the existing partition.

Before wiping the drive, validate the health of the NTFS via running a chkdsk /f command. You can use the /r switch, but that will take longer.
