right click start button
choose windows terminal (admin
if it doesn't open as powershell, choose the drop down arrow in title row and select it from list
copy/paste this command into window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
and press enter
Then type SFC /scannow
and press enter
Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented
First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files
SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

that might fix the error.

tried running the windows update troubleshoot?
its in settings/system/Troubleshoot
choose Other trouble shooters
Windows Update should be in top area

Since its insider, have you asked on here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-insider-program/bd-p/WindowsInsiderProgram

I see one person having problems with an update, I didn't look hard enough to see if its your one.
I tried the troubleshooter and it did detected something. But when I tried updating again, its the same thing over and over again. Also that post isn't mine. I wonder if its a general issue

i meant the problem might have been yours, or similar... not the post itself.

if it were normal win 11, i could offer a repair install but not sure that process would work on insiders versions

you might be best asking on insiders or eleven forums themselves.
