Problem!

Hello,
I have a Hewlett Packard Windows 7 laptop purchased a few months ago. The characters on the keyboard are wearing off. I have this problem with another laptop, but bought this one because my son said these letters were engraved not stuck on but this is not the case. 4 Letters already almost disappered!

Buy a new keyboard for it. Although if you bought it a few months ago, it should be in warranty and they may send you a new one. If they letters are engraved, they still probably have some type of ink in the engraved part to color them, which is what would wear out. Make sure your hands are clean when using the keyboard, I have yet to have a keyboard wear out it's letters.

I miss 1995 mechanical keyboard laptop.
They no longer provide but back that time it was good keyboard over all.
Back then i was 7years old.
It was damn heavy laptop ever lol

if its in warranty they should replace the keyboard--though this can be a hassle if you have to send it away to be done etc

you can just buy stick on letters for it something like this

Buy a USB keyboard and use that instead of the laptop keyboard. You can probably get one for next to nothing.
