I have Toshiba laptop with 320 GB hard disk. I was installed Windows7 and made 3 partitions which are 117 GB, 97 GB and 83 GB respectively. But my Hard drive shown 31 MB a boot partition, which I could not format. When I tried to format that 31MB it shown write protected or access is denied. Now my question is.-
How to format that 31 MB partition?

Thanks

That tiny partition is created by the installer during the windows installation and contains files that windows uses during boot. Although as Hidream suggests you can get rid of it, look at its size, it is tiny. Under certain circumstances Windows will simply reinstate it if it needs it.
